Founded with the belief that great engineering should be invisible — felt only as confidence, comfort and longevity — Greatscapes has spent the last decade quietly underpinning some of Kenya's most thoughtful buildings and infrastructure.

We are a tightly-knit studio of structural, geotechnical and MEP engineers who treat every project as a craft project — pursuing optimisation, constructability and design coherence as obsessively as we pursue safety.

A Studio That Listens Before It Draws.

Phase 01

Understand the Brief

Before a single load case is set up, we sit with the architect, the developer and (when possible) the contractor. Engineering only becomes excellent when it understands what success looks like for everyone involved.

Phase 02

Investigate the Site

Geotechnical sampling, topographic survey, services mapping — we believe the ground tells the truest story about what's possible. We don't skip steps here.

Phase 03

Model, Calculate, Coordinate

All three disciplines model in shared BIM environments. Clash detection happens in the studio, not on the slab.

Phase 04

Detail and Defend

Construction drawings worth following. Bills of quantities worth pricing. Site responses worth respecting.
